BASIC CONCEPTS IN NMR: Fundamentals and Operating Techniques
Professor Dan Traficante discusses the value and importance of his course and how it corrects common misconceptions in NMR. Students and instrument operators should learn the fundamental concepts and operating techniques presented in the course.
A unique feature of this course is that it corrects common misconceptions that propagate throughout the NMR community. Many university, college and online courses are guilty in spreading misconceptions.
To help mitigate these inaccuracies, the National Science Foundation (NSF) awarded grants to NMR Concepts to teach university and college professors how to teach NMR correctly. The program was so successful that it was expanded with a second larger grant.
In this video, Professor Traficante presents examples of false concepts and references the parts of the course where he teaches the correct concept in a student-friendly way.
